Public issues
I read somewhere " Public issues will knock on your private door sooner or later " This quote really knocked me off my feet and I sat with this quote for a week... thinking, contemplating really trying to understand it. I used to completely shut down news, politics etc and labeled it 'negative' claiming that I did not want anything negative in my life but what is so negative about knowing what is happening in the world! It becomes negative only when you react with anger, frustration and all kinds of fear. I hear this all the time Think Positive Think Positive. People are like I only want positive stuff in my life, so I don't want any horrible news and believe me I used to be that person. But there is nothing positive about ignoring the suffering of another being. Positivity is about rejoicing on the fact that we can do something about it. I live on this planet called earth and everything that is happening on the planet earth is my(our) responsibilit
