Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Pai in 4 days

My first time in Thailand, I flew straight to Chiang Mai: culturally rich, beautiful city.

For a plate of Pad Thai in this market here, it was around 45 Baht (£1).

This white temple is located in Chiang Rai, 3 hours away from Chiang Mai. When going to Temples, you have to be aware that you are not allowed to wear shorts or sleeveless. So, when you are packing for Thailand please bring at least one pair of long trouses or skirts and half sleeves Tee.

Cycling around this beautiful Chiang Mai city.

4 hours drive from Chiang Mai, Pai remains a safe haven for hippies and an ordinary girl like me! This village makes you feel safe as it is secluded and laid back.  I instantly fell in love with this place. After much travelling, I could just chill all day doing nothing and later hop into some mellow bars...

Hopped on a night train to Bangkok from Chiang Mai, which took around 12 hours to fly to Cambodia...
